With profound gratitude for our Platinum Sponsor, DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont and General Manager Andrew Behnke, this year's event will be hosted under the stars in their beautiful outdoor courtyard. Guests will be greeted with hors d'oeuvres of Grilled Lobster & Shrimp, Seasonal Fruit, and a Charcuterie display. Dinner will follow with a Claremont Buffet featuring a variety of salads and vegetables, Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Truffle Mac n' Cheese, and entrees of Chicken Piccata, Vegetarian Lasagna, and a Prime Rib Carving Station. Dessert will follow, including the famous DoubleTree cookies!
Our Keynote Speaker is Mark Marshall, Ovation board member and author of "Goonies, Droids, & Killer Whales: Observations and Anecdotes from My Time with Spielberg, Lucas, Donner, and Warner Bros". The book is an affectionate look back at a wondrous time in an industry that has exported magic to the world for over one hundred years. Mark will share stories and anecdotes from his time working with artists who wrote, produced, and directed some of the greatest movies of the last half century, including Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Richard Donner, and many others.
