Book Week Parade

Parents and Carers are warmly invited to Northern’s annual Book Week Parade held in our Performing Arts Centre.

Since 1945, Book Week has been a treasured tradition in Australia — and this year marks a special milestone: 80 years of celebrating stories!

The 2025 theme is 'Book an Adventure'. For the parade, students are encouraged to dress up as a character from an adventure book or as their favourite book character.

Book sales for the Book Fair will open after the Book Week Parade.

Book sales will then continue at the following times:

Thursday 21 August and Friday 22 August:
* 8.30am – 9.30am
* 11.00am – 11.30am
* 1.00pm – 1.30pm
* 3.00pm – 3.30pm
