YEAR 10 or 11!!! ( I think 10, but we skipped the last 2 years)
It's almost that time again. <3
A few of you have asked me about this in the last few weeks so, here you go:
My message is the same as every single year:
Some of you may or may not remember me losing my cool after floating the river a lot years back and feeling I needed to rant via FB (so much to rant about.) If not, basically I was fed up and disgusted by the amount of garbage left behind so we are putting together this trip again (year TEN...wooooooo!!!!) so we can have a fun day floating AND stop wherever we see trash (there has been A LOT LESS over the last few years <3 ) so we can fill trash bags with whatever we can.
Others might not care about where we live (with our animal friends) but this girl, and my truly amazing friends do, and if you do too.....PLEASE join Janae and I. Bring your fam, bring your friends, bring your kayaks, canoes, tubes/rafts and prepare for an awesome day!
It won't be all work!!! (It never is)
Each year has ROCKED and we got so much done while having a beautiful and fun day.
Please be on time and bring anything you think will help in addition to your float (life vests, gloves if you want, trash bags, extra floats for trash bags, trash grabbers, munchies, WATER.) We will have some of these things to share, but depending on how many people show...maybe not enough so any help is REALLY appreciated.
The more the merrier and the quicker the clean up will be! Tubes will be in the water by 9:30 and we'll be off!

We usually stop for burgers and a drink on the way back if you'd like to stay and join, but of course totally up to you.
I hate that I have to add this, but no bad attitudes/crankiness or bizarre political conspiracy theories please. :) This is a fun activity with kind people who love nature and fun.
