Winter Botany

Learn more about the plants of Allerton at Winter Botany on Saturdays, Jan. 10 & 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in The Studio and outdoors.

Instructor Fran Harty will begin each class in The Studio and share information about twig characteristics, fruits and how to use an identification key. The remainder of the time will be spent in the woods to apply what has been learned.

Take advantage of a fun opportunity to bring a kid (ages 10+) along for a $10 add-on fee! All students will receive their own hand lens.

$40/person + $10/person for child (ages 10+) add-on (limit one). Register at https://allerton.illinois.edu/events/winter-botany/. Registration will close Jan. 3 or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.
