Spend Friday the 13th helping solve a crime at our Murder Mystery Dinner: Irish Wake presented by the Champaign Urbana Theatre Company’s Seven Corpse Dinner Murder Mysteries on Friday, March 13 in the Mansion Gallery. Doors open at 7 p.m. for a cocktail half-hour, followed by dinner* at 7:30 p.m.
CUTC will present the following story: James Andrew O’Meara has gone to meet his maker and his final request was for a good old-fashioned Irish Wake to mark his passing. His entire family is there — even some relatives so distant that no one knows who they are. After the service Andrew’s will is to be read. But watch out: surprises in the will could prove to be downright deadly!
Your job? Insert yourself into the story, embrace the suspense and solve the case by questioning suspects and looking for clues (eavesdropping is also allowed and encouraged). Funeral attire is recommended but not required to attend this Irish wake!
