Defensive Skills Clinic

Join us each month for a chance to shoot a variety of scenarios designed to improve your skills with a pistol while giving you the opportunity imagine a defensive situation in which you might need to use your everyday carry gun. The purpose of this clinic is to give people the opportunity to participate in a shooting “match” without the competitive element or the need to qualify for any classification ahead of time. Participate, perform, learn, and have fun with Cohutta Pines monthly defensive skills clinic.

Arrive anytime from 3:00 pm to sundown to participate. Register ahead of time and fill out our waiver to get on the firing line a little quicker, or pay when you arrive and one of our range officers will walk you through our safety briefing before you begin. Try the stages as many times as you like.

This opportunity is offered each month on the Friday before our regularly scheduled International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) match. Some stages might be set up in line with corresponding match for the next day.
