Welcome to our 8th installment of the PURE 4x4 Basecamp "Overland Festival" series! We're BACK in NORCAL at a secret location in Cisco Grove, CA. This is the perfect location that allows you to...CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE.
400 Acres of Wild Freedom
Basecamp kicks off Thursday 7/31 at 12 PM for VIPs and Friday 8/3 at 9 AM for General Admission—just 20 minutes from Truckee and an hour from the legendary Lake Tahoe. Set up camp under the open sky, surrounded by forest, trails, and like-minded explorers. Sites are first-come, first-served, and no 4x4 is needed to roll in and make it your own. Join the crew, connect with the land, and get ready for some serious off-grid adventure.
Here’s what’s waiting for you:
- This venue offers on-site facilities! Water, showers, and toilets are all available for our guests.
- Hiking and biking on property. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails minutes away as well!
- Fishing and water activities are only minutes away!
- Off-road 4x4 trails. The El Dorado National Forest is home to a ton of off-road trails. After you register, we will provide you via email confirmation a list of trails we recommend along with their difficulty rating.
- Free 4x4 Workshops will be available to add on to your purchase and will be held on Saturday 08/03 from 9AM -11AM. If we are able to add additional classes, we will post them on the registration page.
- Get Ready to Party All Weekend! We’ve got a ton of live performances lined up—stay tuned for the full artist reveal! DJ Erok, DJ Ronald S, DJ Lahn, DJ Rufio, and DJ One10 will be throwing down at the Main Stage, the heart of Basecamp action. Expect non-stop energy with activities, a wild scavenger hunt, exclusive merch—and a massive Saturday night finale packed with awesome gear and surprises!
- TAKE HOME AWESOME GEAR! We’ve got over $30,000 worth of amazing items to share with our guests—thanks to our generous sponsors! Check out the list below to see what you might take home. This event is proudly hosted by the non-profit Tread Lightly.
- Respect Basecamp! PACK-IN, PACK-OUT WASTE POLICY. Bring enough garbage bags and keep your areas clean and tidy as there are no public dumps onsite. NO OPEN FIRES; only propane grills for cooking and propane fire pits can be used on the property. We will have routine wellness checks to ensure each campsite stays clean and is fire-safe!
- BASECAMP EATS! We'll have food vendors on-site -stay tuned for the food announcement!
- E-Bikes are welcome! We want to gather everyone for an e-bike meet and ride out! Gas powered dirt bikes, ATV's, and UTV's may be operated OFF the property on designated local OHV trails.
- Bring the family! We'll be having special events for kids such as a scavenger hunt, coloring contests, goodie bags, and more!
- SILENT DISCO IS BACK from Basecamp 7.0! Time to get hyphy with your favorite tunes in a new way, while also being courteous to your fellow camp neighbors!
- Camp out! You have the ability to camp further away from the group if you prefer a bit more peace and privacy while still having the option to pop-in to the barn area to see what's going on.
- BAJA DESIGNS "LUMEN HOUR" returns! Prepare to "get lit" at 9 PM sharp on both Friday and Saturday night!
