Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, a dance audition and vocal audition. Auditioners should wear closed-toe shoes and movement clothing. Auditioners are welcome to sing a song from the show or in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music (an accompanist will be available) or bring your own accompaniment backing tracks (Bluetooth speaker will be available).
Anyone auditioning for the role of “Amalia” should prepare a song that features a high B5 note and should be prepared to sing the end of “Vanilla Ice Cream”.
AUDITIONERS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL PERFORMANCES AND POSSIBLE ADDED PERFORMANCES WITHIN THE DATE RANGE OF THE RUN ALONG WITH TECH WEEK (11/2/25 - 11/6/25) REHEARSALS.
Please note: Actors auditioning for the roles of Amalia and Georg should be comfortable with performing an on-stage kiss, as it is a scripted and essential moment in the show. All intimacy will be approached with professionalism, clear communication and consent.
