United Scrap Metal is excited to welcome Chicagoland families to its 21st Annual Recycle with Ronald McDonald House event. Join us for a fun, fall-themed day that will directly benefit the families of hospitalized children. This free event offers plenty of kid-friendly activities, tasty treats and even has an educational component! What to expect?
- Touch-a-Truck experience
- Mini pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating
- Face painting
- Opportunity to make a creation with an on-site 3D printer
United Scrap Metal will be leading an educational effort at the event to teach kids about recycling. Kiddos will get a private tour around the United Scrap Metal facility to learn how the company recycles metal to make new products for customers, benefiting our communities and environment. And, as a fun souvenir, each kiddo will get a mini hard hat to take home!
Families who want to contribute to the fundraiser are encouraged to bring pop tabs or make a donation. These contributions go a long way—every $95 raised provides one night of comfort for a family staying at Ronald McDonald House.
