Fireburn Queens Leadership & Service Award

This year at the annual commemoration of the Fireburn of 1878 we are honoring girls and women who live the spirit of the Fireburn Queens of 1878. We are asking the community to nominate any girl or woman between the ages of 8 and up who exemplify this spirit. Who uphold the virtues of cooperation, integrity, empathy, perseverance, prayerfulness, assertiveness, commitment, accountability, fairness, courage, creativity, respect, helpfulness, reliability, determination, and unity. 1 girl and 1 woman from each of the following age groups will be selected: 8-11, 12-17, 18-30, 31 and up. Honorees will be recognized at UCA’s Kitchen 1878 Fireburn event on October 1, 2025 at 6:30 pm.
