The "Whys" and "Hows" of Writing Fantastic Short Stories

Weldon Burge will lead the workshop "The 'Whys' and 'Hows' of Writing Fantastic Short Stories" on Sunday, August 24, 2:00-4:00, at the Kirkwood Library.

Weldon will provide an overview of the writing process for short stories, discussing topics like finding ideas, selecting titles, developing plots, characterization, settings, dialogue – all the basic essentials. Much will be based on his experiences working with the authors for the anthologies published by Smart Rhino Publications. There will be handouts and open discussion throughout. Hope you can attend!
