This Kings Birthday Weekend we are celebrating the Federation of Rail Organisations of New Zealand's 50th Anniversary Conference with special running at the Ferrymead Railway.
Our friends from Pleasant Point Railway & Museum and The Plains Vintage Railway & Historical Museum are joining us at Ferrymead with their Locomotives D 16 from Pleasant Point and A 64 from The Plains for Train Operations across Sunday & Monday!
Diesel Traction Groups equipment will be proudly on display in the Half Round Diesel Shed.

Specially On Sunday:
- Kitty the Kitson Steam Tram will be trundling round the park for you to ride upon its double decker trailer!
- Sunday will also see additional motive power during the day for everyones interest and enjoyment.
