Take part in a very special community art project this summer at Highcliffe Castle.
Would you like to be part of our upcoming community art project at Highcliffe Castle?
We have partnered with Lucanart to bring local community groups and individuals together to create one of a kind stained glass window inspired panels.
We aim to promote wellbeing through art as well as showcasing the Castle’s stained glass collection which is on display for the very first time.
There will be 8 windows created in total with nearly 100 panels to be decorated by our community!
Whether you're a seasoned artist, an amateur, community group or someone who simply loves to create, we welcome your participation. This project is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, share your creativity, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.
About the project
Over 4 workshop days, you will help to create 8 stained glass inspired panels to be displayed in the Castle’s former library. Currently, we have 8 blank canvases to be adorned with your work of art. Each pane will be A4 in size with a 1cm border. You can use paints or pens to created your work which will then be installed and outlined by LucanArt. All materials will be provided.
How to get involved
We will be running 4 community art days held at Highcliffe Castle for you to complete your piece of the stained glass inspired panels.
