This informative study day will give you an introduction to the safe and effective use of herbal remedies during the childbearing year.

Learn how to use water based teas and infusions and tinctures to help relieve symptoms of some common conditions of pregnancy.

- To recognise some of the commonly used herbal remedies for pregnancy, childbirth and lactation and the benefits they have.

- To have a basic knowledge of appropriate and safe use of herbal remedies during different times of pregnancy

- To be able to identify some of the therapeutic actions of the herbs

- To have more confidence in using and recommending herbal remedies
