Guest Speaker: Karen Wokeman from Copyright Licensing

Karen Wokeman is speaking with us in person about the challenges creative people face with copyright law.
In this engaging session, Karen will be giving us an overview of our rights as creators, building our basic understanding of Copyright and guiding stronger business practices.

Born in Taupō, Karen has been around the world and back again, with a hand in the creative arts at every turn. Karen is passionate about sharing information and supporting creative people in their endeavours.

Our monthly meetings are held at Toi Auaha, the wooden building on the corner by the Arts Centre and the museum. Follow the accessible entrance all the way around the back to the north-facing door.
There is usually plenty of parking on the streets around, and it is free during the week from 6:00 pm
