Fungi Foraging 101 – For Beginners Only

🍄 Fungi Foraging Fun at Richmond Community Garden!
Come on down to the Fungi Farm for a fun and family-friendly event all about discovering the wonderful world of fungi!

We'll explore what fungi are as living beings, where they come from, and the incredible variety that exists. You’ll also be introduced to 6–7 edible and medicinal species to help start your lifelong fungi journey.

🧠 Perfect for absolute beginners – no prior knowledge needed!
🌧 Rain or shine – If the weather’s decent, we’ll meet at the Fungi Farm. If it’s too wet, head straight to Riverlution (46a Vogel Street), on the other side of the Richmond Community Garden.

Unlock the secrets of fungi and connect with nature!

Everyone is welcome.
Suggested koha: $20 or a few veggies from your garden. If that’s not possible right now—no worries, you’re still very welcome!
