Casual First Date: An Improvised Comedy Show

An improvised comedy sketch show where the strange and mundane get jusssst a little too close. Inspired by a one-word suggestion from the audience, your pals in Casual First Date pull apart true and hilarious stories from their lives and put them back together as silly, snappy, and even super-deep sketches, and scenes.

Since forming in Tāmaki Makaurau, CFD have brought improv joy to audiences across the motu, and you darlings in Ōtautahi have been some of our favourite, wildest and goofiest crowds. If you love improv, but just wanna sit back and watch, the only audience participation is the optional yelling of one-word suggestions. Grab your strangest friend, or the friendliest stranger and we'll see you there!
