This is our Tuesday morning outdoor toddler group which runs every week during term-time. This block is a 6 week block that runs from Tuesday 6th January until Tuesday 10th February.
This toddler group runs from 10 to 11:30am and features a different theme every week with a range of activities and equipment to explore. We begin with a gather around the fire circle for a welcome and hazards talk, and explain some of the enhancements on offer each week. Some weeks will involve a story, poetry, music or drama! Each week will have a different theme and may involve crafts, some tool work, cooking and getting us all moving!
Forest school is designed to be child-led so all the activities are optional and there are always lots of ‘free-play’ areas to explore such as the mud kitchen, music area, boat, sand pit and the digging area.
Half way through the session children can enjoy fruit and a drink, followed by freshly made cake from the Brinscall baker. There are teas or coffees and cake for the grown ups too! Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements so we can offer alternatives. Children often like to feed the chickens after snack too!
The sessions will run on the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th January, and the 3rd and 10th February. We usually have a camp fire in the final week of term and on any really cold sessions we may light the log burner in our shelter too.
Termly prices are £8 per session if you book the block. Additional children are half price.
Alternatively, if you book a pay as you go session, the cost is £9.50. If all spaces are filled with block bookings then unfortunately we may not be able to offer pay as you go places.
