The Royal Ordnance Factory at Chorley was built in the late 1930s and employed many thousands at its peak. Learn about the fascinating history of the site, how it was constructed, what actually took place there and hear about the secret history of what is now Buckshaw Village.

Entry to the presentation is free to members of Brindle Historical Society or just £5 on the door, to include tea or coffee, biscuits and a chat. We hope to see you there!
