About the event

Crime in the Library - MJ Arlidge, AA Dhand and Rob Parker
Our Crime in the Library event brings together three lively best-selling crime writers to tell all about maverick detectives, drug cartels and mysterious disappearances!
MJ Arlidge has worked in television for the last twenty years, specialising in high-end drama production, including prime-time crime serials Silent Witness, Torn, The Little House and, most recently, the hit ITV show Innocent. His debut thriller, Eeny Meeny, was the UK's bestselling crime debut of 2014 and has been followed by twelve more DI Helen Grace thrillers. His latest book is Into the Fire.
AA Dhand was raised in Bradford and spent his youth observing the city from behind the counter of a small convenience store. After qualifying as a pharmacist, he worked in London and travelled extensively before returning to Bradford to start his own business and begin writing. The history, diversity and darkness of the city have inspired his Harry Virdee novels, currently in development with a UK broadcaster for screen adaptation. His latest novel is The Chemist.
Hosting the panel, is Rob Parker author of the Ben Bracken thrillers, the Thirty Miles Trilogy and the standalones Crook’s Hollow and Blackstoke. Rob writes full time, as well as organising and attending various author events across the UK. Passionate about inspiring a love of the written word in young people, he spends a lot of time in schools across the North West, encouraging literacy, storytelling and creative-writing. Rob's latest novel is The Troubled Deep.

How the evening will run: Author panel discussion chaired by Rob Parker followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
Books will be for sale on the night.
