Chittenango Landing Dry Dock Ownership

Join Chittenango native Tony Shea for a fascinating look at the ownership history of the Chittenango Landing dry dock property. Using museum archives, deeds, maps, books, and visits to the Madison County Clerk's Office, Tony has uncovered details including delays in construction of the dry docks, and "unusual" deed transfers. The history of the site from 1825 until its final transfer to the State of New York in 1972 will be discussed, and Tony is happy to answer questions during and after the presentation.
