In the early 1990s, as democracy embarked on a new journey in Bangladesh, a group of visionary young individuals founded Drishty Chattogram in the port city of Chattogram. Over the past 34 glorious years, Drishty Chattogram has consistently organized inter-school, inter-college, and inter-university debate competitions (in both Bangla and English), debate training programs, a dedicated debate school (Drishty School of Debate the first and still the only debate school in Chattogram), debate festivals, publications, the Debate Premier League, science festivals, math festivals, recitation evenings, business idea competitions (Brainstorming), Model United Nations conferences (DCJMUN), and many more.
Through these initiatives, Drishty Chattogram has elevated the co-curricular landscape of Chattogram to an exceptional height, creating diverse platforms for creative and talented students.
