🇧🇩 Bangladesh Economics Olympiad 2025 – Chittagong Round Announcement 🎓

We are pleased to announce that the Bangladesh Economics Olympiad (BDEO) 2025 National Round for Chittagong participants is scheduled for the end of May and will be held in Chittagong at __________ (venue to be announced).

BDEO is an annual national competition on Economics, Financial Literacy, and Business Case Solving for high school (O-Level) and college-level (A-Level) students. The top-performing students will go on to represent Bangladesh at the International Economics Olympiad 2025 in Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 and other prestigious global events 🌍.

🎓 University students can also participate, but they are only eligible up to the national level.

Since 2019, Bangladesh has proudly participated in the International Economics Olympiad, and since 2020, in the World Economics Cup, earning:
🏅 2 Gold, 🥈 10 Silver, and 🥉 25 Bronze medals internationally.

Eligibility: School, college, and university students from any discipline

📍 Bangladesh Team Selection Process (Chittagong Route)

1️⃣ Chittagong National Round (Theory & MCQ):

Participants will compete in written exams and business case activities. Top performers will be selected for the Team Selection Camp.
(Final number is subject to authority’s discretion.)

2️⃣ Team Selection Camp (MCQ, Theory & Business Case Solving):

🏆 The top 5 contestants will represent Bangladesh at the IEO 2025.
🏅 Additional high performers may be selected for the World Economics Cup and Asian Economics Cup, subject to organizer discretion.
