Muncle, Harmer Jays, Parkii at the Old Road Tavern

MUNCLE is the musical vehicle of Bristol based songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Mike Griffiths. Recording as one person, gigging as a 3 piece with Jim Heard & Mikey Morgan, Muncle is a fixed entity with a host of changing, moving parts.

HARMER JAYS seamlessly weaves rich instrumentation, distinctive stylistic choices, and soaring vocals to craft a contemplative and intensively concentrated sonic flow. Inspired by an eclectic mix of trailblazers such as James Blake, Joji, Maggie Rogers, and Bon Iver, Harmer has cultivated a unique sound—one that thrives on vulnerability and evocative Persuasion.

Chippenham's own PARKII is opening the night with his melancholic blend of mid-west emo and slowcore. Parkii’s music looks like a pair of well used dungarees. Hailing from Wiltshire, his spoken word covers everything from aspirations to live in a shepherds hut, to intergalactic spaceship love. With influences such as Bon iver, Mac Miller, Wunderhorse and American Football, he is able to connect the sound of suburbia with the noise from farmland.
