We're thrilled to welcome The Great Big Tree Climbing Company to Bowood this summer for an exciting, family-friendly adventure.

Take your outdoor experience to new heights as you scale the magnificent trees of Bowood under the guidance of fully qualified instructors. Perfect for anyone aged 6+, this is your chance to test your balance, coordination, and courage — all while having serious fun.

Please note: The Big Tree Climb is suitable for ages 6 and up, with each 60-minute session limited to 8 climbers per tree and led by qualified instructors. Advance booking is required as places are limited. Parental or guardian consent must be completed at the time of booking. Children can be left with instructors during the session, and parents wishing to climb must sign a waiver. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The activity runs in all weather unless conditions are deemed unsafe. It takes place near the Visitor Car Park with a dedicated drop-off point. Please note, non-participating adults will need a Bowood Day Ticket to enter the grounds.
