Our dad, Jim Brocker, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2022. He’s undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and other treatments the doctors suggested. Unfortunately, the cancer continued to progress by moving into his bones and spreading throughout his body.
In mid-August 2025, we found out that his most recent treatment wasn’t working. Jim’s form of cancer is incredibly aggressive. On August 21, Jim went to the ER for intense chest pain. After being admitted to the ICU, it was found that he was in extreme heart failure. While the doctors were able to successfully complete a procedure that allowed him to return home, we still have limited time left with our dad.
Jim is spending his last days on hospice. Please support our family as we navigate end of life care and expenses.
