Join Rooted Soul Gatherings to celebrate the Summer Solstice 🔥 we will gather in community on the banks of the Ts’elxwéyeqw River (Chilliwack River) on SUNDAY, JUNE 22nd, 2025 at Noon.
Summer Solstice brings in the season of illumination, transformation and fulfillment. Gathering in community around the ceremonial fire celebrating Litha+Summer Solstice we will celebrate the sunlight of midsommar. Bring your intentions for this next season and manifest your magic with offerings to the fire.
This Community Fire is for EVERYONE. Bring your families, friends, children.
We will be gathering on the Traditional and Ancestral Land of the Ts’elxwéyeqw People. We honour their continued stewardship of this land by honouring The Great Mother with deep gratitude for her gifts.
There will be Cedar Bundles for each person attending to offer to the Fire with their intentions for the summer season.
We are looking for people who would like to step forward and share a song, a poem, a chant or drumming with the circle. If you’d like to share, please message Jody.

Here is where you will find all the information on where our Summer Solstice Community Fire will be.
LOCATED on Chilliwack Lake Road, a 5 min drive from the Vedder Bridge Roundabout across from Edwards Road. Edwards Rd has two openings onto Chilliwack Lake Road. You are looking for the first opening on the left hand side as you drive towards Chilliwack Lake.
If you use the Maps App on your phone, type in Edwards Rd. Scroll into the map so you can see the first crossroads of Edwards Rd and Chilliwack Lake Rd. This is where we will be.
There is a pull out with concrete barriers where about 4 cars can park. I am going to kindly ask that this area of parking be left to cars with people who need the direct accessibility to the area. There is parking across the street along Chilliwack Lake Road in “pull outs”. Please use caution parking and crossing the road. It can be very busy with fast traffic.
Please CAR POOL. Meet up at the Vedder Rotary Trail Park by the Vedder Bridge and pack your car with friends, new and old! Please use this event page to offer rides and carpool.
