We at Bastion Games are excited to announce our third quarterly event of the 2025 Topdeck Championship series: The Monarch of Midsummer!
Where: The event will be held at the Rosedale Ballroom at the Coast Hotel Chilliwack (45920 First Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P 7K1)
When: Saturday July 12th. Doors open at 9am, with the event starting at 11am.

This event is a playtest card friendly event.
This venue is close enough to Bastion Games that instead of setting up a huge vendor table, our website will be available to purchase items off of, and an employee will bring it to the venue for you. If you are purchasing any singles and would like them to be brought to the venue, please add that note for your cart when you make the purchase and we're more than happy to accomodate.

PRIZING:
We are doing a simple transparent prizing system:
After the cost of running the event (venue, judge and employee costs), 100% of every entry fee will go into the prize pool. The first 50 participants will also get a limited edition set of tokens. All credit can instead be paid out as cash at 80%.
Approximate prizing at the following participation:
40 Participants:
1st: Trophy, $1000
2-4th: $500 each
50 Participants:
1st: Trophy, $1200
2-4th: $600 each
60 participants:
1st: Trophy, $1500
2-4th: $750 each
80 participants:
1st: Trophy, $1800
2-4th: $900 each
5-16th: $100 each
100 participants:
1st: Trophy, $2500
2-4th: $1200 each
5-16th: $150 each
125 Participants - $10k in prizing
200 Participants - $16k in prizing
This is a truly exciting amount of prizes especially for our area!
We will have reserved list cards on hand for participants to purchase using their winnings. If you'd rather swing by the store (2-3 min drive away) to use your winnings, you're more than welcome too as well!

SCHEDULE:
Doors open at 9am, first round starts at 11am
FORMAT:
64 or less participants: 4 rounds, cut to top 10
65+ participants: 5 rounds, cut to top 16
129+ participants: 6 rounds, cut to top 16
A $39.99 Side event will be starting part way through the event for anyone who wants another shot at prizes. Tickets will be available at the venue. Prizing for the side event will be:
1st: 40% of the pool
2-4th: 20% of the pool each
