May 1 Recreation tournament will open at midnight
May 15 Open/AA & A/BB tournaments are open for registration.
Year five once again brings the sand back to downtown Chillicothe thanks to Herrnstein Kia, 50 West Brewery, Adena Regional Medical, and Classic Brands!!
Three Divisions: Open/AA, Competitive A/BB, and Recreational
The Open/AA and Competitive A/BB tournaments will be available via online registration beginning May 15, 2025. There will be an update to the event page with a registration link and the same link will be posted on Facebook. The link will remain on the page until the tournament is full.
Teams in Open/AA division will ideally consist of regionally top performing volleyball players and teams that have experience playing in high level tournaments.
Open/AA Registration $300, 8 team cap
Open/AA Division Payout : 1st $2,000, 2nd $1,000
Competitive A/BB Registration should be for high performing players and teams that play volleyball regularly and can compete with highly talented volleyball players.
Competitive A/BB Registration: $275, 8 team cap
Competitive A/BB: 1st $750, 2nd $275
Recreational Tournament will open May 1, 2025 via an online registration link that we will provide on Facebook and will remain open until full. Recreational Registration is for teams/players that have played volleyball but mostly show up for the fun and cold drinks.
Recreational Registration: $250, 16 team cap
Recreational: 1st $250
MIXED 4s, 8:00 a.m. Registration Opens, 9:00 a.m. Recreational Tournament Begins, 10:00 a.m. Open & Competitive Tournament Begins
Teams will be placed in pools of four teams. Games to 21 by 2 (cap at 25). Games may be changed to 15 based on timing of tournament as determined by the Tournament Director. Tournament seed will be determined by Win/Loss with point differential as tie breaker. Tournament is single elimination. Only Tournament Championship Games will go best of three games.
Open/AA and Competitive A/BB Divisions will have paid referees. Recreational Tournament will have designated team member refereeing.
Will play by FIVB4s Sand Rules.
All teams will be given “swag bag” and each player tournament t-shirts.
