****This course requires that you purchase and complete the American Heart Association HeartCode ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) online before this Skills Session****
You will find the online class at www.elearning.heart.org HeartCode® ACLS or PALS is a web-based, self-directed program that teaches healthcare providers knowledge and skills needed to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest. Using eSimulation technology, students assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings where they can apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to facilitate learning about advance cardiac life support or pediatric advance life support.
You must complete your online class before your in person skills session with an instructor at Lifeline Training Center. Each student will need their own individual email address and set up their unique AHA eLearning accounts. After successful completion of your online class, you will need to email us your proof of completion or print it and bring it with you to your in person skills session. It will be needed to attend the skills session.
