General Public Show

The Smith Planetarium will be presenting a show for the general public tomorrow, Tues. Sept. 30th @ 7:30pm. The show will consist of a feature presentation entitled "First & Farthest" and include a live sky tour. The live portion will cover the star, planets and constellations that can be seen this time of year. The entire program will last about an hour.

From the first rockets to the first man on the moon, “First & Farthest” celebrates humanity's great accomplishments in the Space Race. Appropriate for 5th grade and up, this show will bring back memories for those who experienced the Space Race and inspire new generations to keep exploring our universe.
Show Topics: Rocket Propulsion with Solid and Liquid Fuels, Parabolic Flight, Orbital Flight, and the history of space exploration.

Admission is $5 adult and $4 children and donations are always welcome and appreciated. All are welcome to attend and we look forward to seeing everyone at the show.
