About the event

香本博個展　「秩父のゴッホの食卓」
岡山県生まれ・東京育ちの画家が、埼玉県の秩父に来て25年。今まで描かれなかった、ふと立ち止まる秩父の美しさを描きました。今回は秩父の食文化を支える、食材にまつわる絵画も展示されます。DMの絵は「蕎麦月夜」。白い花が浮かび上がる月夜。蕎麦が誘引され、葉がカイト（西洋凧）となって旅立ちます。会場では、
きっと見る人を非日常のファンタジーの世界に誘い、
酷暑の肩コリや疲れをほぐしてくれます。
