Wrigleyville Neighborhood Trash Cleanup!

Join the Garbage Gals, Drake Warren, and Chicago Growth Project for a Wrigleyville Cleanup!

Come together with neighbors and fellow Chicagoans to help clean up one of our city's most vibrant neighborhoods! We'll be picking up trash to help make a positive impact on our community.

One lucky winner will receive two free Cubs tickets for the game on June 14th versus the Pirates through a raffle of all volunteers who attend!

About Garbage Gals, Drake Warren, and Chicago Growth Project:

Garbage Gals is a female founded Chicago-based Nonprofit Organization and registered 501(c)3. Their mission is to clean up local neighborhoods through trash collection efforts. By picking up litter, they do good for the environment and build community connections. Trash pick up events take place a few times a month and are open to all who want to volunteer! Drake Warren is a progressive urbanist running for Cook County Commissioner (10th district).

The Chicago Growth Project is a Political Action Committee dedicated to electing leaders who will enact structural reform and pro-growth policies to set Chicago on the right path. We believe the best way through our city's issues is through building more housing, better transit, stronger businesses, and safer communities.

What we will provide:

We provide all the equipment/supplies necessary. That includes name tags, gloves, trash bags, buckets, and trash grabbers.

What to expect as a volunteer:

We will give a 15 minute grace period for arrival. If you arrive after 9:00 AM please get your supplies at our tent and locate the nearest Garbage Gal to join them. Once most attendees have arrived, we will take a minute to get to know each other, distribute supplies, and establish a time to meet back up. The trash pick ups usually last about 1 hour.
