About Mambo Revival:
Celebrate 10 years of The Mambo Revival and 2 years of KR Dance at The Anniversary Weekender, happening June 7th & 8th! This special collaboration brings together two pillars of Chicago’s Latin dance community. KR Dance Studio has become a home for dancers of all levels to grow, train, and connect—while The Mambo Revival has spent the last decade building unforgettable salsa socials and curating a community rooted in music, passion, and unparalleled social dancing. Together, we’re marking this milestone with a weekend full of world-class dance instruction and a blowout social celebration.
The weekend kicks off Saturday, June 7th at KR Dance Studio (3711 W Montrose Ave) with two exclusive 90-minute workshops: a Latin Fusion class by Tony & Lyliana from MG Elite LA (1–2:30 PM) and a Mambo Intensive with Angel & Stephany from NYC (3–4:30 PM). Then on Sunday, June 8th, we return to Epiphany Center for the Arts for the official party: a legendary Mambo Revival social featuring live DJs spinning salsa vinyl, performances by Angel & Stephany, MG Elite, JS Productions, The Jonas Brothers (Chicago edition), and more. Plus, a special 60-minute concert by Junior Rivera y su Orquesta performing hits from his new album and classic '90s salsa romántica. You already know the vibes—don’t miss this one-of-a-kind celebration!
