ABOUT YOUR HOSTS & FEATURES
Melissa Rae is an up-and-coming Chicago based director and stand up comedian who first started performing comedy three years ago for her dog Maizey. Since then, she’s performed at various iconic Chicago venues including The Laugh Factory, The Lincoln Lodge, and at home for her vaguely bisexual landlord. You can see her perform regularly at the monthly Friday Night Open Mic she hosts at Eli Tea Bar in Andersonville.
Nitty Frazier is a late bloomer and new comic from the west side of Chicago. She uses her inherited gifts of neurosis and depression to concoct jokes. Follow her on IG at @nittyfraziercomedy
From the mile high city of Denver Colorado, Vi Conraad is now a Chicago based comedian, photographer and computer geek. Having escaped a lifetime of catholic school for a passing interest in tech, she now pursues a more stable career in comedy.Bringing the feistiness of a hungry chihuahua and a heart of gold to her comedy, she offers a fresh perspective on life with bisexual sass (with a side of finger guns) and an awkward horniness only Sabrina Carpenter can match.Kailah Peters (K.P.) describes her writing as confessions her soul makes to her mind. Her work weaves between poetry and comedy, finding a niche and community as a co-producer of Giggle Hour, a monthly comedic poetry show hosted at the Lincoln Lodge. Catch her being overly vulnerable on the internet and around the city or, most likely, just asking to pet your dog.MacKenzie Shapiro is a clown, comedian, and producer based in Chicago. She was nominated for “Best Comedian” in the Chicago reader, is a local staple, and has performed around the world. MacKenzie produces Gems, Slumber Party at the Lincoln Lodge and teaches clown at the Newport Theater.
