Founded in 1997 by Eric Williams, The Silver Room is more than just a shop—it’s a space where art, culture, and authenticity thrive. As a hub for creativity and personal expression, the Silver Room has brought global art and sounds to the South Side, and its Block Party has become a symbol of joy, dance, and togetherness. The Fundraiser will be a celebration of these roots and the years of fun and connection that have shaped the city’s cultural landscape.

MicheFest, founded by Fernando Nieto and Miguel Torres, shares this spirit of community-driven celebration. Originally launched to create large-scale events for underserved communities in the South Side, MicheFest is a festival that highlights Latinx culture with food, music, and the iconic michelada. This partnership celebrates the shared mission of both organizations to bring people together, create lasting memories, and support local businesses, while honoring the traditions and culture that make Chicago unique.
