Shared Future Gala 2035

The Shared Future Gala will shine a light on maternal health and raise critical funds for Share Our Spare's mission to provide essential items including diapers to children in need across Illinois. The evening will feature a cocktail hour dinner and a program honoring the resilience of families while highlighting the vital need for supporting their health and well-being.

The event will also include a fireside chat on maternal health featuring the following speakers: Moderator Dr. Kiara King OBGYN; Tayo Mbande Founder of Chicago Birthworks; Lauren Fifarek Social Determinants of Health Coordinator at Erie Family Health; and David Faich Policy Manager at Raising Illinois.

 In 2024 Share Our Spare provided diapers to nearly 18000 children and essential items to more than 13000. But with 25% of parents in Illinois reporting they miss work because they can’t afford enough diapers to send their children to childcare the need is urgent. The Shared Future Gala will raise funds to support Share Our Spare's mission to help families thrive and create a brighter future for children across the region.
