Marwen ReConnect

We're excited to host Marwen ReConnect, a networking event designed to re-engage Marwen Alumni. This 2-Day event will jump off remotely on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, 12-1:30pm, culminating at Marwen on Thursday, August 28, 5:30-7:30pm. Join us for community, celebration, and creativity!

Catch up with peers and reminisce about days you were a young artist at Marwen. Meet with fellow Marwen alumni, staff, and board members within various fields and across cities to expand your professional networks. Hear stories from alumni directly impacted by Marwen programming. Network and share what you’re working on. Learn about new opportunities and how to continue to be involved at Marwen. Alumni spotlights, tours, artmaking, and breakout zoom discussions will take place throughout the event, highlighting stories from former Marwen students.

Marwen educates and inspires young people to nurture their growth and build their futures through art and community. Founded in 1987, the no-cost studio and pathway programs exist for young people in Chicago who want to explore visual arts and do not have access to arts programming due to financial and systemic barriers.
