Memorial Day Poppy Ceremony at the Iowa Building
Come witness a traditional Memorial Day Poppy Ceremony as presented by members of area American Legion Posts. We especailly welcome Hyde Park Veterans and family members of our fallen heroes to whom this ceremony is dedicated.
Participants include the following American Legion Commanders and Past Commanders:
The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars.
We are honored to present this ceremony in Hyde Park.
NOTE: This is a free public event but reserving tickets is necessary in helping us to set up our space, especially for our Veterans with mobility issues. Please be sure to bring a folding chair for everyone in your party.

Info: Every one is welcome to stay and socialize or help with clean up. We are expected to vacate the Iowa Building at 10:30 a.m.
