Hailing from the banks of the Genesee River in Rochester, New York, Hermit Knight brings fantasy, chivalry, and emotion to each and every composition. Manifesting antique atmospheres and soothing leads for wonderfully evocative soundscapes that carry listeners through a swath of nostalgia, Hermit Knight’s “emotional fantasy synth” draws from both the real and the fantastical, fusing human emotion with lore and legend. Hermit Knight is no stranger to the stage, having played multiple shows + festivals, and promises a performance for the ages.
Hermit Knight has been deeply involved in the dungeon synth scene; the project’s founder and creator Nicholas the Gnome runs WereGnome Records and books local dungeon synth shows in and around Rochester
An offering to the altar of life and death, Alkilith and Nightshade join forces in Mors Vitaque‘s: a project that conceptually deals with existence’s cyclical nature. Mortlach is dark dungeon synth from an old count who wanders the ruins of an old castle. Evoking feelings of adventure, suspense and horror, Mortlach’s music takes you deep into the castle dungeons where who knows what you’ll find
