Haunted History Bus Tour - Ghost Tour w/ Adam Selzer (9pm)

Everywhere in Chicago, history peaks through the cracks, like weeds between squares of sidewalk. That bar used to be a funeral home...that alley was the site of a grisley disaster... that parking lot was a famous M**der spot...and that space there used to be a cemetery. Where there are stories like these, ghost stories naturally follow.

From 2005-2015, Adam Selzer ran literally thousands of ghost tours aboard busses for various companies around Chicago. Along the way, he met all sorts of people, saw all sorts of strange things, and had all sorts of adventures. His tours single-handedly raised the average Yelp review of more than one tour company from two stars to to five! Loaded with primary source research, wicked humor, and a pure sense of fun, his bus tours were like rock concerts - with ghosts! All based on serious research into primary sources to sort out the real history behind the ghostlore.

A rare chance to see Adam run the classic tour that launched his career. Since his first tours, he's been the author of THE GHOSTS OF CHICAGO (new expanded anniversary edition out now!), HH HOLMES: THE TRUE HISTORY OF THE WHITE CITY DEVIL, GRACELAND CEMETERY: CHICAGO STORIES, SYMBOLS, & SECRETS, and the brand-new CHICAGO'S SERIAL HUSBAND: The Marriages and Murders of Johann Hoch (which is also the subject of his new podcast, Tomb Snoopers). He's a regular on cable TV ghost hunting shows such as Haunted History (now on Hulu), Hotel Secrets, American Ripper, Scary Stories, Gangland Chronicles, I Was There, and more.

The tour will begin in his oringal launch site outside of the former "Rock n Roll McDonald's" at 600 N Clark, and run a little around 2 to 2.5 hours, taking in some of the most famous haunted spots in Chicago aboard a deluxe motor coach.

Other ghost and crime tour companies are charging about 60 bucks for a ghost tour nowadays, but Adam is still charging roughly his same prices from over a decade ago! Come see us!

WHAT TO KNOW:

Adam will start checking people in outside the Rock n Roll McDonald's, 600 N Clark.

We will get off the bus a few times to check out locations up close.

No alcohol on the bus. Obnoxious drunks will be asked to leave, no matter where we happen to be.

This being Halloween, there will likely be other ghost tour groups at other locations, in which case a rumble may ensue, not unlike the "Thriller" video, but we think the peace accords should hold. (Just kidding, we won't get into any zombie fights).

Bring your camera and your ghost busting equipment! (No 1980s-era proton packs; only the safer modern ones are allowed.)
