Andrea Zile Bish is a Chicago-based director whose work spans film, theatre, and the wonderfully weird in between. Her award-winning shorts—including Last Date and It’s Your Night, Babe!—have screened coast to coast, while her writing has placed in national screenplay competitions. A fierce advocate for Chicago’s indie scene, she co-founded Script Night with the Independent Film Alliance and helped launch Filmscape’s ‘Chicago Style Indie Filmmaking’ panel. Whether she’s producing surreal projects for CAN TV or curating conversations for CineYouth and Chicago Film Scene, Bish brings sharp wit, deep craft, and a love for community collaboration to everything she does.
