Darkroom 101: Learn to Develop & Print 35mm Film

Get hands-on in the darkroom! Join us for an introductory workshop where you’ll learn how to develop black-and-white 35mm film and create your own prints under the red light. No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

This workshop prioritizes participation for youth and emerging artists around ages 16–24, but all are welcome to register if space permits!

All materials are provided. Come ready to slow down, create, and experience the magic of analog photography — one roll at a time.

Need a ride? Roundtrip transportation from ConTextos (2240 S. Michigan Ave) is available. Departure is at 12:30 PM sharp — just select the Transportation Add-On when you register, as seats are limited!
