Damon Dickson Dance Class

Damon Dickson is proud to be part of the A Taste of Theater Festival 2025! Damon Dickson started his career with Prince in the award winning film, Purple Rain. He later became a founding member of the New Power Generation and spent years touring the world and making videos with Prince. Now you have the opportunity to learn an original line dance created by choreographer, Damon Dickson! This is a positive high energy dance class that is for all ages. You have the flexibility of just taking the dance class, doing the dance class and staying for QA, or the VIP package where you do the dance class, QA, and come back Saturday evening for a live performance on stage with Damon Dickson. Get on your dancing shoes because the DayDay sway is coming to Chicago!

We are offering 3 levels of tickets for this event! Please see full description of each ticket choice and the times are listed in the agenda.

Dance Class only $40

Dance class and QA -$55- you can participate in the dance class plus stay afterwards to hear Damon's amazing stories and have your questions answered. Get those Prince questions ready!

VIP- $100- you not only get the dance class, QA, an autographed picture of Damon, you get to come back on October 11th at 8 PM and perform the DayDay sway live at the festival with Damon.
