Cycles of Support: Unemployment Support Group

Background: Toward the beginning of the year, layoffs began increasing, so a few bike friends decided rather than go through it alone, let's support each other! Cyles of Support was born! A simple concept: ride our bikes to a central location, updates on how the process is going, troubleshoot specific topics (resumes/cover letters/interviews/networking/etc), and be a solid source of support and encouragement through a challenging time, together.

Join us for our weekly support group meetings! We typically decide on a topic the meeting before but sometimes our updates take up the whole meeting or we focus on one specific person who has a significant event coming up (i.e. interview).

Feel free to bring something to eat/drink, something to share if you want.

While this support group started from a cycling group, everyone is welcome. Parking is difficult in this area so we recommend riding your bike if you can! There's also transit options or you can take a taxi.
