Sicily has remade itself in the last 25 years to become Italy’s most vibrant and improved wine region. That’s a pretty fast turnaround for a place that’s been making wine since 4000 BC!
Join us to taste wines from Sicily’s native grapes – flagship red Nero d’Avola and light, chillable Frappato, whites like Catarratto and Grillo, which have risen above their undistinguished past, and the wines of Mount Etna which smolders as we speak, daring vintners who love old wines and expressive terroir to craft wines which hold their own with Burgundy and Barolo.
Choose from three sessions, as we’re keeping the groups small and intimate! Snacks and informative handouts will be provided.
