Chicago’s legendary Air and Water Show is best enjoyed from the deck of the iconic 148′ Tall Ship Windy — and this year, we’re taking you straight to the action!
Join us as we depart from Navy Pier and cruise to show center for 2.5 hours of jaw-dropping aerial stunts, thrilling flyovers, and dazzling water displays — all with the best views in the city.
While the official schedule is not yet announced, we anticipate another year filled with high-energy excitement and unforgettable moments.

📍 Departure Location: Navy Pier, Chicago
📅 Date: August 16th and 17th, 2025
⏰ Times: 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM
10:00 AM Sail: Enjoy a variety of aircraft demonstrations and stunts, viewed from the Captain’s chosen best location. Return ~12:30 PM.
1:00 PM Sail: Features a wide variety of aircraft AND the main event! Return ~3:30 PM (subject to slight delay if the show runs over).

This is a non-sailing event — Windy will remain under power or anchored for optimal viewing.
Safety is our top priority — the Captain may reposition based on water and weather conditions.
The Air & Water Show is managed by the City of Chicago. Tall Ship Windy is not responsible for the aerial schedule, changes, or cancellations.
