Join Us for PSC Taco Tees Day – A Manufacturing Showcase! 🌮👕🔧
Prairie State College invites area junior high and high school students to an exciting, hands-on exploration of the world of manufacturing at PSC Taco Tees Day – Manufacturing Showcase on Tuesday, May 27 at the PSC Conference Center.
This interactive event is designed to spark curiosity and excitement about careers in manufacturing through engaging activities, special guest appearances, and, of course, tacos!
Event Highlights:
✅ Free T-Shirt Giveaway – Kick off the event with a custom PSC & MakeItInIllinois (MIIL) t-shirt!
✅ Interactive Activities – Build and create with Lego construction challenges and other hands-on manufacturing-related experiences.
✅ Meet Drew Crowe – Get inspired by Manufacturing Social Media Influencer Drew Crowe, who will share insights on the future of the industry.
✅ Tour Mobile Training Centers (MTCs)– Step inside our state-of-the-art mobile training labs and explore cutting-edge technology.
✅ Fun & Games – Enjoy exciting activities that make learning about manufacturing fun!
✅ Taco-To-Go-Kit – Refuel with delicious tacos while connecting with industry experts and peers.

🕤 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM | Junior High Students
🕤 Noon - 2:00 PM | High School Students
Often referred to as the leader of The New American Manufacturing Renaissance, Andrew Crowe is one of the most influential people in manufacturing today. Andrew, or Drew as he prefers, strives to ignite and energize American manufacturing by exposing youth, community, political leaders, and underserved communities to this industry. His mission is to ensure that we put our best innovators, creators, and thinkers in spaces where they can thrive and grow.
