Event for Earthquake Relief

On March 28th, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Sagaing region of Myanmar, near Mandalay. This powerful earthquake impacted over 17 million people across 57 of the country's 330 townships. Among them, more than 9 million individuals were severely affected by the highest tremors.


The LinQ Foundation, in collaboration with Alliance Française de Chiang Mai, the Burma Students Association, and the Thanthayar Foundation, is organizing an event to raise funds for earthquake recovery in Myanmar. The event location is kindly hosted by Alliance Francaise de Chiang Mai. Donations will be accepted at the event and forwarded to local civil society organizations (CSOs) in Myanmar for earthquake recovery efforts.


Join us at the Alliance Française de Chiang Mai on May 15th from 5-9 PM.


The event will feature:

- Thai and Myanmar food, drinks, and souvenir sales

- Short documentary film screenings [ 6:00-7:30 PM and 7:30-9 PM ]
