Creature of Critique

“Who do you think you are?” “You call that ugly thing art?!” Sound familiar? That harsh inner critic lives in many of us—snarky, rude, and way too loud. Join local artist Jessica Lyles from Lavender and Yarrow Studios in this playful and creative workshop where we’re giving that voice a body: an ugly little creature of its own. You’ll name it, design it, and write its short story. By giving form to the critic, we take away its power and reclaim our creative space.
Come break the rules, embrace the mess, and create something wonderfully terrible—on purpose.
